When I start reading a book, I always find some music to match the mood of what I'm reading. It enhances the overall experience, making the simplest of scenes seem to leap off the pages. Reading about a supporting character's death? Throw in Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata. Writing about two characters who finally reunite? Slide in those soft piano notes.
